John Phillip Pearson, Sr. Age 75
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Brandywine, MD, surrounded by his devoted family. John was a longtime resident of Upper Marlboro. He is survived by four loving children, Jerry (T’Kia), John Jr. (Keijuana), Jerome (Maiyana), and Janice; Five adoring siblings, Spencer (Margaret), Linda, Theresa (George), Sheila, and Joyce (Mason); twelve cherished grandchildren Levelle (Starr), Sadao, John III, Chauncey, Sirgei, Jaylen, Kennedy, Maiya, Jeremiah, Jonah, Gia, and Monet; and a host of additional treasured family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Harriet, parents Mae and John S. Pearson, grandparents Fannie and Jessie Morris, big sister Sandra Marshall, and grandson Jerome Jr.
John retired from the Post Office, owned and operated Pearsons Moving Company and loved his family. He was truly an outstanding father, brother, grandfather and friend with a generous heart.
Family will receive friends, Friday, July 12, at Reid Temple A.M.E. Church 11400 Glenn Dale Blvd, Glenn Dale, MD 20769. Visitation 10 a.m.; Celebration of life 11 a.m. Interment at Harmony National Memorial Park.
